According to a press release, the Ministry of Health is the only authority authorized by Law 95/2006 to carry out official control in the field of public health through the State Sanitary Inspectorate. According to the law, ANPC can only carry out controls in the food sector on the basis of a common legal framework, including an order between the institutions involved.
