Sorin Grindeanu, the interim president of the PSD, announced that his party has summoned Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan to Parliament, at the 'Prime Minister's Hour', to explain the withdrawal of American troops from Romania. Grindeanu emphasized that Romanians deserve to know the reasons for this situation and called for a concrete plan to strengthen national security.

He also mentioned that he was not informed about the troop withdrawal in discussions with President Nicușor Dan. Grindeanu criticized the government for its anti-American rhetoric and accused the silence from the Government following the US decision. Prime Minister Bolojan has not yet decided whether he will respond to the PSD's request.
