The framework loan agreement between Romania and the Council of Europe Development Bank will support the restoration of 14 important cultural landmarks, including the National Opera in Iasi and the 'Constantin Brâncuși' National Museum. The amount will be doubled from the national budget, and implementation of the projects is planned between 2026 and 2033. The Government has also approved the extension of a cultural heritage investment program to complete works at the 'George Enescu' Museum by 2029.
