Cristian Ghinea, USR deputy, attacked the PSD president, Sorin Grindeanu, on Friday after he criticized the Minister of Defense for the inability to stop the Russian drone that hit an apartment building in Galați. Ghinea compared Grindeanu's behavior to that of a person who, instead of helping, seeks to blame others for the problems created by himself.
He emphasized that Grindeanu should be aware of the PSD's contribution to the current political situation, which has led to an interim government. Ghinea also brought up Grindeanu's criticisms of the interim government, insisting that Romania's defense issues cannot be solved through simple political statements. Additionally, Ghinea mentioned that Grindeanu had questioned the purchases of anti-drone systems, highlighting his inconsistency. In response, Grindeanu called for an effective anti-drone defense system, emphasizing Romania's vulnerability to attacks. However, he did not condemn Russia for the drone attack.
