The decision to allow the appeal against the ruling of the Ploiești Court of Appeal, which suspended the annulment of the 2024 presidential elections, sparked a revolt by Georgescu's supporters. They blocked the traffic in front of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, and the Gendarmerie intervened, asking for everyone's safety. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the CCR also challenged the decision of the Ploiești Court of Appeal.
