According to statistics, both in the Senate and in the Chamber of Deputies, USR and several independent parliamentarians also voted against. In the Senate, 37 senators rejected the legislative packages, including 20 from USR and 12 from AUR, while in the Chamber of Deputies, the votes against consistently exceeded 70, with a significant share from USR and the independents. Thus, Simion's statement, made in the context of the scandal related to the Recorder documentary about the Justice laws promoted by Cătălin Predoiu, is not supported by official data.
