The Galați City Hall has announced the signing of a contract worth 200 million lei for the modernization of the Danube Promenade, a project awaited for decades. The works will include the construction of bike paths, fountains, a skate park, relaxation areas, playgrounds for children, and landscaping. The project aims to revitalize tourism and will be completed in 24 months, with part of the funding coming from European funds. Mayor Ionuț Pucheanu emphasized the importance of this project for the city's image.
