The fuel prices in Romania have recorded a significant decrease in recent days, according to data analyzed by Profit.ro.
On Friday, diesel dropped close to the threshold of 9.5 lei/liter at Petrom stations, reaching 9.58 lei/liter, the lowest level since March 20. Gasoline was also reduced, reaching 8.72 lei/liter, similar to the price from March 18. Reductions were also observed in the OMV network, where diesel costs 9.67 lei/liter, and gasoline 8.83 lei/liter. In contrast, at Rompetrol, diesel was reduced by 6 bani, but gasoline increased by 17 bani, reaching 9.11 lei/liter for gasoline and 10.2 lei/liter for diesel. Internationally, oil quotes have increased by about 1%, remaining below 100 dollars per barrel, in the context of market volatility and the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
