According to information provided by Salvamont Argeș, tourists have not suffered any medical issues and are in good condition. Due to the extremely strong blizzard, mountain rescuers could not intervene that evening, and the area is under a RED CODE weather warning for extreme weather, valid until Monday morning. Salvamont Argeș has organized an evacuation operation for Monday morning at 7:30, when a first response team will leave from the Capra Refuge to reach the tourists. They will be supported by a team of five mountain rescuers, properly equipped for the difficult weather conditions, with strong winds and low temperatures.
