Authorities in Bihor have activated the Red Intervention Plan after 28 tourists developed symptoms of food poisoning.

On Tuesday night, 28 campers from Bucharest and Timisoara, camping in Vârtop, showed symptoms of food poisoning. Of these, 16 children and 2 adults were taken to hospital for medical care. The intervention involved several ambulance crews and was initially triggered by a 112 call. After medical assessment, the red plan was deactivated.
