The President of the Dolj County Council, Cosmin Vasile, announced that on Tuesday, a portion of 80 meters of the county road DJ 641, in the area of the locality Pielești, was flooded due to the overflow of the Teslui River, caused by heavy rains.

However, there are no isolated persons, as an alternative route was available. Cosmin Vasile mentioned that these floods are frequent in this area, but the situation could be resolved once the rehabilitation and modernization works of DJ 641 are completed, a major project valued at over 310 million lei, funded by European funds and started last year. This project is considered the largest in Dolj County at present.
