Five people have been arrested preventively in Timișoara for drug trafficking, selling cannabis, cocaine, and N-Ethylpentylone.

Five people, aged between 21 and 47, have been placed in preventive detention for drug trafficking in a continuous form in Timișoara. The Timișoara Organized Crime Fighting Brigade, together with DIICOT prosecutors, documented their criminal activity, which included the procurement, possession, and sale of cannabis, cocaine, and N-Ethylpentedrone, with amounts ranging from 150 to 2,390 lei.

The suspects often collaborated, with some becoming suppliers for others. Following the searches, over 160 grams of drugs, 44 cannabis plants, and various tools used in illegal activities were confiscated. On Wednesday, prosecutors ordered the detention of the five, and on Thursday, the Timișoara Tribunal approved preventive arrest for 30 days.
