The City Hall of Sector 2 opened the first solar charging station in Romania, available free of charge for electric cars.

The station, located in the City Hall's parking lot, operates autonomously, without connection to the electricity grid, using BEAM Global's EV ARC™ technology. It allows the simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles, each with a power of 5.5 kW, and requires no infrastructure works. The project, realized in collaboration with the Romanian Association for Smart Cities, will be evaluated by September 1, 2025 for possible extension in Sector 2.
