Firefighters evacuated 86 people from a children's center in Zalău after gas leaks were reported. No casualties were recorded.

On Thursday afternoon, firefighters from Zalău intervened at a center for children with disabilities, where gas leaks were reported. The specific smell was detected in the technical room, where two natural gas boilers are located. Following the report, 86 children and staff were evacuated as a precaution, with no casualties recorded.

Upon the arrival of the teams, the gas detectors were activated, confirming the presence of leaks. Firefighters took preventive measures and extinguished the fire, and the natural gas supply was stopped by a crew from the gas distributor until the malfunctions were remedied by an authorized company.
