On Sunday, November 30, 2025, a fire broke out in an apartment located on the 10th floor of a building in Timișoara, on Bdul Liviu Rebreanu. At the scene, the Timișoara Fire Department 2 intervened with two fire engines, a mechanical ladder S42, a SMURD crew, and 16 firefighters. The fire was extinguished around 08:16. Following the incident, nine people from the neighboring apartments were evacuated, but no one required medical attention. Firefighters determined that the fire was caused by the battery of the electric scooter, highlighting the importance of precautions in the use of these devices.
