On Saturday, a fire was reported in the alpine void area of the Rodnei Mountains National Park, Maramureș county. The fire is burning in jnepeniș and pasture, with easier access from Bistrița-Năsăud county. Firefighters from the Sângeorz-Băi and Bistrița Intervention Guards, supported by 4x4 equipment, were on the scene. The intervention is supported by forces from ISU Maramureș, volunteers and park staff.
