A strong fire is blocking the tram traffic in the center of Iași.

A strong fire broke out on Tuesday in an apartment located on the first floor of a building in the center of Iași and spread to the roof of the building, covering an area of approximately 200 square meters. Firefighters are intervening with several fire engines equipped with water and foam, as well as a qualified first aid crew, to contain and extinguish the flames and protect the property. Tram traffic has been suspended in both directions in the area, and so far no casualties have been reported.
