A fire that broke out in a building in sector 5, Bucharest, led to the evacuation of 30 people and one victim transported to the hospital with burns.

According to ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, a fire broke out in an apartment located on the 3rd floor of a building in Sector 3, manifesting with open flames and large smoke emissions. The stairwell was filled with smoke, and search and rescue teams were formed to identify and evacuate people from inside. One person was evacuated from the apartment with burns and was taken over by medical teams. Four fire trucks, one intervention and rescue truck for high-rise buildings, one rescue truck, the Special Rescue Detachment, three SMURD teams, and one ambulance team intervened at the scene. The fire was extinguished by firefighters, and in total, 30 people were evacuated from the building.
