On November 13, a fire broke out in the locker rooms of the stadium in Cernavodă, causing the destruction of the sauna and a section of the locker rooms.

The firefighters intervened quickly with three fire trucks to extinguish the flames, which were caused by a short circuit. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the fire completely destroyed the sauna and affected the changing rooms. The incident was captured by locals, and the images circulated rapidly on social media. The former captain of the team, Iulian Carabela, criticized the club's management on social media, mentioning the financial problems the team has faced. The 'Ideal' stadium was rehabilitated between 2020 and 2022, with an investment of approximately 2 million euros from the local budget, bringing significant improvements to the arena.
