A fire at an ammunition depot in Mija, near Târgoviște, was extinguished upon the arrival of firefighters, with 25 people evacuated, no victims reported.

On Wednesday, a fire was reported at an ammunition depot in the locality of Mija, where the Mija Mechanical Plant is located, part of the National Company Romarm. Upon the arrival of the firefighters from the Moreni Detachment, the fire was already extinguished, and the intervention focused on ventilating the affected areas, where smoke was being released.

The Dâmbovița Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) reported that 25 people were evacuated from the area, but no victims were identified. Five fire trucks, one SMURD crew, and one rescue vehicle were mobilized on site to ensure a quick and efficient intervention.
