A fire broke out at a store on the ground floor of a building on Pantelimon Road. Firefighters intervened with seven fire trucks.

A fire broke out on Saturday afternoon at a commercial space located on the ground floor of a building on Pantelimon Road, Bucharest.

The flames spread over an area of approximately 80-100 square meters, also affecting the facade of the building over an area of 5-10 square meters. Firefighters from ISU Bucharest-Ilfov mobilized seven fire trucks to extinguish the fire and evacuate the residents.

Smoke penetrated the building's stairwell, spreading throughout the entire staircase. On-site, search and rescue teams were prepared to intervene in case evacuation became necessary. The fire was successfully contained and extinguished. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
