On Tuesday, firefighters in Prahova intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out at a car workshop in Albești Paleologu, which also includes a storage of approximately 50 tons of ammonium nitrate. According to ISU Prahova, the fire is spreading over an area of approximately 200 square meters, and the intervention teams were quickly mobilized, including 5 fire engines, a water tanker, and a SMURD ambulance. Firefighters are working intensively to contain the fire and prevent its spread to the area where the bags of ammonium nitrate are stored, constantly spraying to cool that area. So far, no casualties have been reported.
