A 37-year-old man from Dâmbovița County has been detained for sexual assault, the victim being his 16-year-old daughter. The investigation was initiated by the police in Pucioasa after the teenager went to the police and reported that she had been assaulted by her father for half a year. According to the investigations, between October 2025 and March 2026, the man, in his capacity as a parent and legal guardian, allegedly sexually assaulted her repeatedly. The Dâmbovița County Police confirmed the information and announced that the man has been detained for 24 hours, following which he will be presented to the magistrates for a preventive measure to be taken. The case highlights the importance of reporting abuse and protecting victims.
