A man was arrested preventively after he threatened his son with death to force his wife to return home.

A man was detained and later placed under preventive arrest after he threatened to kill his 13-year-old son in an attempt to convince his wife to return from abroad. The aggressor filmed the abusive scenes and sent them to his wife, reproaching her that the teenager does not resemble her. According to social worker Ana-Maria Mardare, the man verbally abused the child and created an imminent danger climate.

After the children's mother alerted the police, all four minors were taken by the authorities and placed in a protection center. The man is accused of threats, domestic violence, and mistreatment of a minor, and if found guilty, he risks up to seven years in prison. The children's mother has returned to the country and is preparing to move with the little ones into a rented apartment. The man's lawyer claims that he did not intend to carry out his threat but only wanted to scare his wife.
