Fatal fire in Brăila: a man died, and two women were transported to the hospital

A devastating fire broke out on Thursday evening on Câmpului Street in the municipality of Brăila, affecting a residence of approximately 50 square meters.

According to the Brăila Emergency Situations Inspectorate, intervention teams managed to evacuate three people caught inside. Unfortunately, a 58-year-old man was found unconscious and was declared dead shortly after the arrival of the crews. Two women, aged 87 and 88, were transported to the hospital, being conscious at the time of evacuation.

The firefighters responded promptly and managed to extinguish the fire, thus preventing its spread to other nearby residences. Authorities continue to investigate the causes of the fire.
