Preventive arrest for a woman from Vâlcea accused of intentionally causing an explosion that killed her husband.

In an apartment building in Alunu, Vâlcea County, a devastating explosion occurred, causing the death of a man who was thrown out of the window by the blast wave.

The incident took place on the third floor, where the two spouses, both with hearing and speech impairments, lived. Their apartment was engulfed in flames, and the man was unable to escape from the room before the explosion. The impact with the ground was fatal. The wife, aged 51, was found in another room, near three empty gas bottles and one full of gas.

The investigation revealed that the woman may have caused the disaster, and neighbors stated that there had been conflicts between the two, with the woman previously threatening to kill her husband. She has been placed in preventive custody for murder of a family member.
