On Monday, a 53-year-old man died following an explosion at a wood-fired heating plant in a house in Lupeni, Hunedoara County. The blast led to a fire, and the victim was pulled from the room by neighbors. The medical team performed resuscitation maneuvers, but they were unsuccessful. Firefighters from the Petroșani Detachment intervened to extinguish the fire, which was spreading over an area of approximately 10 square meters.
