Fatal accident on the Sun Highway: one person dead, three injured

On Friday morning, a serious accident occurred on the Sun Highway, near the locality of Lehliu-Gară, Călărași County, at kilometer 67.

Two cars collided, and one of them overturned off the roadway. As a result of the impact, four people were injured, and one of them did not respond to resuscitation efforts and was declared dead.

Although no traffic restrictions were imposed, traffic flowed on both lanes; however, a queue of vehicles formed, approximately three kilometers long, in the direction towards Constanța.

The authorities were informed about the incident, and the INFOTRAFIC Center of the Romanian General Police Inspectorate confirmed the details of the accident.
