Fatal accident on DN11, in Covasna: a young man without a license died after the collision between an ATV and a car.

A tragic accident occurred on DN11, between the localities of Lunga and Lemnia, in Covasna County, on March 29, 2026, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old young man and the injury of three other people. The accident involved an unregistered ATV, driven without a license by the deceased young man, and a car.

At the scene, police found that the young man died as a result of the impact, while the passenger on the ATV, the driver of the car, and a passenger in the car were transported to the hospital. Investigations showed that the young man did not hold a driving license for any category, and the ATV was unregistered. The driver of the car was tested for alcohol, with a negative result.
