Fatal accident on DN 13 A, in Harghita County: a man died, and two other people were injured / A SMURD helicopter was requested

A serious road accident occurred on Wednesday on DN 13 A, in the locality of Băile Homorod, involving a truck loaded with wood and a van. As a result of the impact, a man was declared dead by the doctor from the SAJ Odorheiu Secuiesc ambulance, and two other people were injured and are receiving medical care.

Three fire crews from the Odorheiu Secuiesc Detachment intervened at the scene, including a fire truck, a rescue vehicle, and a SMURD ambulance, as well as two crews from the Vlăhița County Ambulance Service.

Traffic on DN 13 A is blocked in both directions, and its resumption is estimated after 09:00. Authorities have requested the intervention of a SMURD helicopter to transport the injured victims.
