A serious accident occurred on DN 1, Cluj County, involving a motorcycle and a truck.

A tragic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on DN 1, in the area of Vâlcele, Cluj County, involving a truck and a motorcycle. Following the impact, the motorcycle caught fire, and the motorcyclist, a 36-year-old man from Câmpia Turzii, was found by rescue teams with severe burns and without vital signs.

Although rescuers performed resuscitation maneuvers, the man was declared dead. The accident happened when the truck driver, a 59-year-old man from the commune of Feleacu, made a left turn without yielding to the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. The truck driver was tested with a breathalyzer, and the result was negative. Authorities continue investigations to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
