Fatal accident in Ilfov, two 20-year-olds lost their lives

Two 20-year-old young men died on Sunday evening following a serious road accident in the locality of Ciolpani, Ilfov County. The accident occurred around 11:25 PM, when police officers from the Ilfov County Police Inspectorate were notified about the incident.

According to initial checks, the driver, a young man from Bucharest, did not adjust his speed to the road conditions and lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway. The car collided with a large tree and overturned onto its roof. As a result of the impact, both the driver and the passenger in the front right seat died. The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter, and investigations are ongoing to establish all the circumstances surrounding the accident.
