The last weekend of July will bring extreme temperatures, reaching up to 42 degrees in the south of the country. ANM director Elena Mateescu has warned that the heat wave will spread, with code orange in affected areas. Saturday could be the hottest day, with temperatures between 32 and 41 degrees. From Sunday, the weather is expected to cool down and thunderstorms are expected to develop, with heavy downpours and wind intensification. Next week, temperatures will gradually drop to 32-33 degrees.
