The National Administration of Meteorology has issued a Code Orange warning for heat wave and severe heat discomfort, valid on Thursday in 12 counties and Bucharest. The maximum temperatures will reach 38-40 degrees Celsius, and the minimum will vary between 20 and 24 degrees, characterizing a tropical night. A Code Yellow heatwave is also in force in other regions, with temperatures of 35-37 degrees. The heat wave will persist into Friday.
