CNAIR launches the tenders for two sections of the Suceava–Siret Express Road, a strategic project funded through the SAFEE program.

Cristian Pistol, the general director of CNAIR, announced a new step in modernizing the road infrastructure in northern Romania, by submitting the documentation for the design and execution contracts of the Suceava – Siret Express Road, which will have a total length of approximately 43 km, divided into two sections. The project is considered strategic and will be financed through the SAFE program, aimed at dual-use projects, contributing to European security. Along the route, 4 road junctions and 57 bridges, overpasses, and viaducts will be constructed, as well as parking lots and charging stations for electric vehicles. After the documentation is validated, the bidding will be launched, providing northern Romania with a new opportunity for economic and logistical development.
