An explosion caused by the accumulation of gases led to a fire in Galați, seriously injuring a 55-year-old man, who was transported to the hospital.

On Monday evening, in Galați County, a 55-year-old man suffered severe burns following an explosion that occurred in his home. The blast, captured by a surveillance camera, generated a loud noise that alarmed the neighbors, and the flames spread rapidly.

The owner suffered second and third-degree burns on his head and back and was urgently transported to the hospital in Târgu Bujor, where doctors stated that he would survive. Firefighters promptly intervened to extinguish the fire, determining that the explosion was caused by the accumulation of gas from a cylinder.
