Explosion in an apartment in Constanta, one man injured and 14 people evacuated

On the night from Sunday to Monday, an explosion occurred in an apartment in Constanța, injuring a 78-year-old man, who suffered burns to his face. Firefighters were called to intervene, and the intervention teams found the victim, who was urgently transported to the Emergency Reception Unit in Constanța.

After the explosion, 14 people, including four children, exited the building; however, the structural integrity of the building was not affected. Firefighters confirmed that the explosion was not followed by a fire and that the apartment was not connected to the Distrigaz network. It is estimated that the kitchen of the apartment was destroyed by 30%. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the explosion.
