The judges of the Bucharest Court of Appeal have decided to release Andrei Soșa, the owner of Expirat, from pre-trial detention, placing him under judicial control. He had been detained by DIICOT for international drug trafficking, accused of smuggling 300 tablets of Zolpidem into the country from the UK. Expirat officials said that Șoșa used the substances to treat insomnia.
