Eugen Tomac, the designated prime minister, stated in an interview for B1 TV that there will be no tax increases, emphasizing the need for a cautious and technical approach.

"All I can promise is that we will not have tax increases, tax hikes, and where we can correct things, we will try, but in agreement with the parties, precisely because it is very important to be prudent, and a government of specialists cannot be populist," emphasized Eugen Tomac.

Tomac stated that we are going through a difficult period, full of challenges, and called on the parties to collaborate to pull the country out of uncertainty.

He mentioned that he will have meetings with deputies and senators to discuss the formation of the government and the effective use of European funds.

His priorities include adhering to the PNRR schedule and maintaining national security through the Strategic Partnership with the USA.

Tomac insisted on the importance of collaborating with pro-Western parties to ensure Romania's economic and political stability.
