Invited to Antena 3 CNN, the designated prime minister Eugen Tomac shared memories from his childhood in Bessarabia, highlighting the difficulty of understanding the separation from his country by barbed wire.

Tomac described this experience as defining for his life, emphasizing that living on a border imposed by Stalin left a profound mark on him. He mentioned that his entire activity has been influenced by this injustice, which still affects millions of Romanians today.

The designated prime minister recalled the moments when he walked towards the border, feeling a deep hatred towards the barbed wire that separated him from his homeland, considering it an injustice.
