The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, announced that energy vouchers will be available until the end of 2026, continuing to support vulnerable Romanians. So far, over 710,000 beneficiaries are receiving this aid, and those who meet the conditions can continue to submit applications.

According to the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (ANPIS), the support is provided through Emergency Ordinance no. 35/2025, ensuring stability for households with low incomes. So far, over 1 million applications have been registered, of which 724,847 are eligible. Each beneficiary receives an electronic energy voucher worth 50 lei per month, usable exclusively for paying electricity bills. ANPIS encourages citizens to submit accurate applications through the EPIDS application, emphasizing the importance of data accuracy.
