The Romanian government has approved a resolution through which families and single individuals whose homes were affected by the fall of a Russian drone in the municipality of Galați will benefit from emergency aid.
The amounts granted will vary between 1,000 lei and 30,000 lei, depending on the severity of the damages suffered.
This measure comes as necessary support for those affected, considering the significant impact that the incident had on homes and personal belongings.
The government states, according to News.ro, after the adoption of the project, that in the situation where the homes of individuals who received aid of 25,000 lei or 15,000 lei are completely deteriorated, they will subsequently receive the difference up to the value of 30,000 lei.
How the Government's aid will be provided
Emergency aid is granted to families or single individuals affected by the drone's fall, regardless of their income, as follows:
30,000 lei for families and single individuals whose homes have been completely destroyed;
25,000 lei for families and single individuals whose homes have been affected by more than 75%, including, but not completely destroyed;
15,000 lei for families and single individuals whose homes have been affected by less than 75%;
1,000 lei for each evacuated person to ensure the provision of essential items until their return to their home.
The aid is granted for each affected home, without the need to complete an application and without conducting social investigations.
