The former Minister of Tourism, Elena Udrea, was hospitalized and operated on Sunday after she was taken by ambulance from Târgșoru Nou Penitentiary. The surgery took place at the Ploiești County Hospital, and Udrea is now in the ATI ward. In addition to her health problems, on Tuesday she will find out whether the Ploiești Court will grant her request for parole, after she obtained a six-year sentence reduction, thanks to the deduction of previous periods of imprisonment.
