On Sunday morning, Elena Udrea was transported by ambulance from Târgșor Penitentiary to the Ploiești County Emergency Hospital, having abdominal problems suspected to be colic. Prison sources said the doctor's office was closed due to lack of staff, preventing her access to care. Udrea is serving a sentence in the 'Gala Bute' case, and the Ploiești Magistrate's Court is due to decide on her request for conditional release on July 1.
