From the fall of 2025, all schools in Romania will use the electronic catalog, without pilot school status.

Order no. 4.498/2025 allows the use of the electronic catalog in all schools in Romania starting with the 2025-2026 school year. Although schools will be able to use private applications, they will be obliged to report the data in the official module of SIIIR. Approximately 1,900 schools are already using digital solutions, and this measure represents a significant step in the digitization of education, after the official module was neglected for years.
