The "Spiru Haret" and "Alma Mater" Federations of Free Trade Unions in Education challenge Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan's claims about lower teaching standards as false and denigrating. The unionists point out that pressure on teachers has increased due to reforms and insufficient funding. They ask the prime minister to check the financial losses in the PNRR and to start a constructive dialog with teachers. The protests will continue until September 8, including rallies and a march.
