ISU Buzău intervenes to extinguish a wildfire in the commune of Podgoria, affecting 20 hectares

The Buzău Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) announced on Tuesday the intervention to extinguish a wildfire in the Podgoria commune, Oratia village. The fire is manifesting in several hotspots, affecting an area of approximately 20 hectares.

At the scene, several firefighting teams have been mobilized, including 4 fire engines and a first intervention and command vehicle, which are working to locate the fire and limit its spread. Additionally, a SMURD ambulance is present to provide medical assistance to the personnel involved or other emergencies.

ISU Buzău issued a RO-ALERT message to inform the population about protective measures, considering the large smoke emissions in the area.
