A 23-year-old man was stopped by the police in Dâmbovița, refusing to get out of the car. He was pursued and stopped with gunfire, being apprehended later.

On Sunday night, police in Dâmbovița stopped a car driven by a 23-year-old man, who had a suspended license and was under the influence of alcohol. During the check, the driver refused to get out of the car and sped off, hitting two police officers. During the pursuit, the police fired warning shots, both vertically and at the vehicle's tires, without causing injuries. The car was found abandoned on agricultural land.

The young man was identified and tested, with the result indicating a blood alcohol level of 0.60 mg/l. He was detained for 24 hours for the offense of assaulting a police officer and will be presented to a judge for preventive measures. He will also be investigated for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license.
