A young man from Olt was caught driving at 242 km/h on a road with a speed limit of 120 km/h, receiving a fine of 1,822.5 lei and having his license withheld for 3 months.

The young man, aged 26, was stopped by police officers on the Craiova - Pitesti Express Road, where he was speeding. Following checks, he was fined 1,822.5 lei and his driving license was withheld for 120 days. IPJ Olt emphasized the importance of respecting speed limits to prevent road accidents.
