A 34-year-old man from Dolj was detained after trying to pick up almost 50 kg of cannabis shipped from Spain.

The man was caught red-handed by police officers while picking up two parcels of cannabis from a courier company in Filiași. The drugs, hidden in food products, came from Spain, where the man had procured them. False identity cards were also found on him. After his arrest, the court was asked to remand him in custody for 30 days on charges of drug trafficking and forgery.
